Nomads Serpent Resort is a budget backpackers style property located in Cairns, North Queensland, within walking distance from the Esplanade and approximately ten miles from the Cairns Airport. Local attractions include the Great Barrier Reef, lush rainforests, and tropical islands. The hostel offers free shuttle bus from the airport and hourly transfers in and around Cairns (from 7:00am until 2:30pm, 4:30pm to 5:30pm and 9pm until 3am), Internet (fee), TV lounge, the Serpent Bar and Cafe, swimming pools, beach volleyball, fully equipped communal kitchen, and a lounge under the veranda. Room types include dorms, shared doubles, and private double and single rooms. All rooms feature air conditioning, secure storage area, security card room access, lockers, and free linen.
